Wisconsin, Mecca of Mexican Food?

Not. :-)

The "salsa" was very like tomato soup with onion, tomato, and selantro cubes floating in it. The entrees were okay, but had no spice (other than salt). Notice that the word pepper has not made an appearance yet... It's very reminiscent for the kind of "Mexican" restaurant we used to have in Winston-Salem, before we had any Mexicans. If you actually know how to prepare Mexican food (i.e. use pepper in your dishes), there may be a business opportunity for you here in Fond du Lac Wisconsin.

Sounds like it's mediocre Mexican food at best. Salsa should taste fresh from the garden. Mexican food doesn't have to be hot but it should have flavor - and lots of it!
