Buggy Lexmark software

My company has purchased several Lexmark Z35 for employee use while out on the road. While it seems to be a decent printer, its software is *very* unfriendly. I nearly locked up my computer when XP's built in firewall kept it from communicating (without my knowledge or permission) to presumably Lexmark. So, I uninstalled the software (I had previously dropped it as a printer due to it's buggy driver) but a quick search revealed quite a few left over files (even after the reboot to clean of files in use). I highly recommend against purchasing/using a Lexmark printer after this experience.
