Verse of the Day:

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” (1 Corinthians 15:20-22)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)

His Grace is New Every Morning

21 But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: 22 The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him."
Lamentations 3:21-24 ESV
As I woke up this morning, it came to mind that I did not do my job "as unto the Lord" yesterday. I took a shortcut, that leaves open the possibility that some equipment might become damaged. Worse, when confronted on it, I made excuses and attempted to pass the blame. When called on that I lamely changed the subject by agreeing that I might be mistaken, but someone else was wrong too.

I'm so thankful that the Lord's love and mercies "never come to an end; they are new every morning". Now, having been reminded of my failure of yesterday, I can make apologies and correct the issues. And perhaps even share what my change of heart is about! Praise God!
