Verse of the Day:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. An opinion on spiritual gifts.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
(1 Corinthians 12:7)

It seems to me, reading 1 Corintians 12 - 14, that the gifts are granted to every believer, and should still be active today. (Excepting Apostleship.)

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
(1 Corinthians 13:9-10)

This passage is often used to claim that the spiritual gifts ended with the closing of canon. I believe that this cannot be supported if it is read in the context of the whole chapter.
