Is the Bible True: Archaeology

I've linked a story from Science Daily that details how a 2002 discovery proves a portion of the Bible to be historically accurate, at the expense of "contemporary scholarship". The story is based on a Feburary 2005 news release from the University of California, San Deigo.

In the story the author states that the find "adds to the controversy over the historical accuracy of the Old Testament." It is only controversial if you reject the mountains of evedience already discovered. Time after time, there has been cases of "current scholarship" at odds with the Bible; and one-by-one the evedince these cases fall to the side of the Bible. There is an excellent article here.
